“Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) or Clean India Mission” has clearly and rightly brought the focus on sanitation issues in urban and rural areas. A good sanitation is directly linked to improved health as it results in a significant reduction in incidence of infectious and communicable diseases.
The Foundation works with local communities and constructs and maintains toilets. The primary focus is on schools in rural areas. In addition, sanitary pad dispensing machines are also installed in rural schools.
